| Visiting
Nicaragua was an experience in contradictions. The people have lived
in repression and poverty, but show amazing endurance and character.
The land has been worn to the dirt and rock, but has proven to be
remarkably fertile when properly tended. |

This
collection is an attempt to show visually the conflicting sights
from my trip. For each picture of beauty I brought back, there
is also a similar one that exposes harsh reality. However, it
is not always the best looking view that reveals the brighter
future.
